Jessica Sevier is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto. Her music draws on country, roots, Americana, rock and R&B.
Sevier released her debut single, “Ghost of Tom,” in 2019. Her recordings also include “Motel” and “Good To Drive.”
Recordings and collaborators
The writers of “Good To Drive” are Jessica Sevier, Robyn Ottolini and Derek Hoffman. Derek Hoffman also produced “Good To Drive.”
Sevier wrote “Motel” with Andrew Allen and Ron Lopata.
Her debut EP is Wild Wild Woman.
Background and musical training
Sevier took piano and classical voice lessons during childhood. At Western University in London, Ontario, she studied classical voice. She also took a course in audio engineering.
Live history
Sevier has performed at Toronto’s Lee’s Palace and Nashville’s Whisky Jam. Her live history includes a showcase at Toronto’s Departure Festival. She has also shared a stage with Jason McCoy and Tim and the Glory Boys.
